It is the visual connection between fashion and food that drew Liza to Food Styling, combining grace and surprise — an art that owes as much to couture as cuisine.

Following her early successes in fashion, and at the Rhode Island School of Design, Liza dove head first into The French Culinary Institute where she was able to blend her eye for visual aesthetics and creativity with her expert culinary skills.

Constantly cooking and crafting, Liza is inspired by nature - raw, playful, and steadfast. She captures a spark of essential, effortless beauty that ignites her work. Seeking out the farmers, chefs, and makers that are striving for the same high standards.

Alway on the quest for the highest quality palate, she just won’t settle for mediocre...not even with movie popcorn - French butter and Maldon salt, please. Her passion for food sends her happily to restaurants around the world, and she is always aiming for that unexpected ‘wow’ to quench her curiosity and sense of adventure.

Currently, Liza is reconstructing a farmhouse in the Hudson Valley, largely with her own two hands. Her clients include iconic brands including The New York Times Magazine, Target, Crisco, Wonder, Vogue, Martha Stewart, and Bon Appetit. Liza splits her time between Manhattan and the Hudson Valley with her dog, Goose.
